Halloween 2015 - Dr. Ellie Sattler

For Halloween this year, I'm finally wearing the costume I made for last year... it was just too cold for shorts so I went as the 11th Doctor =)

Anyways, here is Ellie Sattler from Jurassic Park. I usually pick an exact moment from a movie for my costumes, so I'm assuming when she hops out of the Jeep after picking up Malcolm, this is her attire. I'm surprised that my paint-pen drawing on the back of the raincoat held up pretty well! I know she didn't have any scratches, but only in the movies would a tree knock the windshield off your car and you not have a mark from it. Plus, I'm pretty good at subtle facial wounds and wanted to add some. It's Halloween after all, gotta have a little bit of blood to remind people this isn't just a holiday for skanky French maids.
