Jurassic World was probably my favorite movie of the summer (so far)... man, when those kids walked into the lobby, I almost cried.
Anyways, my favorite dinosaur has always been the tyrannosaurus rex. We grew up with a big plastic trex toy that has a removable patch of skin that showed a wound in the side. So, when I saw this little toy in walmart that was basically a mini version of our childhood toy, I had to buy it. Unfortunately, this trex's coloring started to irk me when I see it on my work desk every day. Took it home and repainted it with acrylics and a bristle brush to match the movie version. One side, that already had the rib wound, became the bloody/fighting half. The other half is where I turned it into the trex from the movie; you know, the one that still had scarring from the first Jurassic Park movie when the raptors jumped on her back. Such a big improvement from the basic painting; toy in package with original coloring is at the bottom of the post. (took a couple pix in front of some google images to give the toy a cool background, excuse the paperclip holding the mouth open haha)
